come on!Uhhh, what's wrong with the Rush Hour scores? I think they're a lot of fun. And Superbad is probably a pretty "groovy" score also...
I think everyone should just be patient and not worry...

come on!Easy there, little buddy! Lalo Schifrin's Rush Hour scores are awesome, way better than anything Steve Jablonsky has ever composed, and it isn't surprising that Rush Hour 3 would be greenlit for a score release at the snap of Brett Ratner's fingers: It's a big franchise and a large part of it's success has been due to Lalo's music, grounding it with his unique scoring abilities and the deliberate references to his original Enter The Dragon fuel it.
Clayton, I think it's the internet, that's the problem. No one would have been whining and bitching like this 10 years ago--the quickness of news, info, data, downloads, etc. that comes from the net has given a lot of people A.D.D. or O.C.D. when it comes to not getting things RIGHT FRAKKIN' NOW!!! HAHA! Patience, maul, the score will be released in good time, not to worry: patience is a virtue, all good things comes to those who wait ... yada yada ya!

I just meant that if Rush HOur 3 has a score album released then definatly a movie with the self made hype of Transformers should too. I like the score for the rush hour movies, i would never buy it but in the film it suits it very well.

I've known its been in the works for months now...its called patience. It's like people (myself included) have said, it will come, just keep your pants on.
The same thing happened with "Armageddon." The difference here is that the score CD might actually outsell the various disc, lol. From what I hear the various CD is not doing great.

Why would anyone be so eager to buy a typically clichéd MV-infected score?quote:
HZ/MV/RC haters will hate this score and should avoid it all costs and stop giving these guys that crybaby "one last chance" like that douche did for Pirates 3.You mean ME?!? I'm so offended...

What exactly is the deal with Jablonsky's references to Batman Begins? I was listening to pieces from The Island the other day and it reminded me of Batman at times. Did Zimmer work with Jablonsky on this stuff or is it just the Media Ventures/Remote Control style?I haven't been following this thread (or Jablonsky's music) too closely, so pardon my ignorance.

I thought there were more refferences to M:I-2 than Batman Begins on The Island, which isn't a bad thing. I still like this score a lot.
So no matter how many times I said be patient and not worry or Brian said it was coming, you couldn't catch on that it was coming? Come on now...

Because if you actually own the CD, than it's written on it, "Score Produced By: Hans Zimmer." Also, Jablonsky assisted Zimmer on a number of scores, so I can only imagine that HZ had a pretty big influence on the man.

Lmao, thanks for calling me out on that sean. It's a "complete" or "expanded" or whatever version of The Island that I've had for a while but haven't really listened to. I've been trying to get into Jablonsky before buying any of his other CDs... but bleh. Maybe I'll give Transformers a chance... I did enjoy Batman Begins

Yeah, sorry, HAHA! I couldn't resist! Buy Transformers, it's fun! Steamboy is also very enjoyable by Jablonsky.

Well, considering the movie is coming to IMAX on September 21st - sounds like there's a renewed buzz on the film that might require a second wave of ancillary product - the score would be included on that, unless I miss my guess. That shouldn't be taken to mean it will be out sometime before that date, but it fits logically with what the VP for music at Paramount wrote.

Thanks Chris for the info. Finally, now everyone can order it.
I'd also like to point out that with "Armageddon" the various disc came out June 23rd 1998. The score came out November 10th 1998.
Similar to that, "Transformers" came out June 26 and the score is coming on Oct 9th.
So, as you can see...for the most part, same track record.

The 2 disc DVD is being released October 16, one week after the score. Check Amazon. Oh, I bought a black 2004 40th Annivesary Mustang! It's awesome. NP: King Arthur, Hans Zimmer

You shouldn't even be acknowledging that it exists right now; at a later date than fine, but for now just keep to yourself. It's common sense, the more you post about it, the more likely less people will be able to get their hands on it. So, thanks a lot!

As long as people go out and buy the actual CD I don't care if it's on the net, I just downloaded the promotional CD from a torrent site and it rocks, but I still can't wait till the 9th to go buy it.
