From Jablonsky's Assistant:As for the soundtrack being out of print, we are looking into that now. It seems it was only a limited release.
As far as I know, there is no talk yet about a double score album.

They could easily release a complete 2-CD with alternates. Now whether a complete 2-CD w/ alternates would have been "easily" marketable to the masses, that's another question. It's obvious that the score, as released, sold really well. I doubt a majority of those that bought it are all that concerned about any missing material.
File this under "fanboy pipe dream" and call it done. Believe it or not, there's life in film music after Transformers, folks!

I say just reissue the single disc and call it a day. Plenty of good stuff on there.--Brian

Absolutely. The CD that is out now... or was out, represented the score perfectly. You got all the themes mixed perfectly (and then some) and pretty much all of the important tracks (most of which were even extended).

I'm happy with the official release, and as for the boots and promos floating around, the sound quality of those "missing" tracks is just fine, I don't see any need to release lossless versions of Mel Wesson's synthesizers plodding out lesser-than stuff than what you'd get from Hans Zimmer. Steve Jablonsky, IMO, is still an unoriginal composer; I don't hear a distinct musical voice coming out of his compositions, as they're all easily traceable to numerous other Zimmer and MV/RC scores.

I am pretty sure I have seen copies here in Toronto. I believe they were imports selling at around $25. I will take a look and see if they still have them in stock.posted 03-21-2008 01:22 AM PT (US) Old Infopop Software by UBB
