    John, did you buy that thinking it really was IT'S ALIVE? If so, how long did it take you to realize that it wasn't typical Bernard Herrmann, but rather Bernard Herrmann copying James Horner before James Horner was even on the map?

    Whatever, I suppose there must be a lot of music for TREK 3 which wasn't on the original release. Probably good stuff, from the days when Horner was one of my favourite composers, a real up and coming talent. Lou Goldberg would have me shot of course.

    Yes, Graham. I saw this at the Denver Mile High Flea Market around 10 years ago when they had lots of CD sellers there. They are all gone now though. But in one big shop I found around 20 great CDs and bought several of them at great prices. One of them was this one in wrong case and labeled on disc wrong. On the Silva label, I played it and right away said "this is not Its Alive". I have the old LP so I knew it wasnt right away. After listening to a few seconds of it I identified it as Horner and then Star Trek III.
