    All,

With all the excitement over The World is Not Enough, it seems many have forgotten that the Toy Story 2 score also came out yesterday (Tuesday the 9th).

Anyone got it? I plan to pick it up at the weekend. Amazon's entry for the CD has a few sound clips on offer, I liked what I heard.

Great I'll answer my own bloody question shall I? I bought it this morning and boy do I love this score. I got a lot of scores today, granted, and I love them all, but Toy Story 2 is such a fun score, it really is.

My proper review I will do tonight or tomorrow, but basically we have a packed CD here. 20 tracks in all, track 4 to 19 all being score and while I love the attention given the the score, the sequel seems to be without it's fair share of songs, which is a shame as the ones Newman penned in the 1st movie I loved.

Anyways, look out for my full review soon kids.

    Dan,

Just read your review of Toy Story 2 and I totally agree with you. It's a wonderful piece of work by Randy Newman and I agree, I'm disappointed he didn't sing any songs himself. However, I must admit, I love Robert Goulet's lounge lizard version of "You've Got a Friend in Me". The score is just totally fun to listen to and I can't wait to see the movie when it opens.

You know, I do like that Sarah Mclachlan song, but er, she's sing about being loved by a woman...maybe Randy should have sung that one, could confuse the kids.
