    Jeron,

My fave track is track 16. A tear literally run down my face when I first heard it.....

I saw that the whole thing (basically) had been posted to a few binaries newsgroups, but - aside from DotF - I will stand by my assertion that I won't listen to the soundtrack until after I see the movie.

I know it's going to be hard, but I'm determined not to. Call me crazy, but that's what I feel.

Don't you think I sit here agonizing about it, wanting to download it/buy it Tuesday, etc. <SOB!>

The full score is all over the place now...if you know where to look. Anyway, I agree with everything everyone else has been saying...its an incredible score! Ive only listened to around 4 tracks, but thats enough to tide me over until the movie comes out. I'm gonna wait to listen to the entire score until I'm sitting inside the movie theatre itself

I just called Sam Goody and they say that they will get The Phantom Menace score on May 11. I wonder if all stores will get the sountrack the same day?

May 11th? That's crazy! Best Buy is getting it tomorrow (as well as The Mummy and The Matrix). Woohoo! What a great day tomorrow will be... (I can't believe tomorrow is tomorrow!)

I have watched the 30 and 60 sec tv commercials and listened to the soundtrack, and I am very dissapointed that some of the music that they used in the "one will" and "one love" is not on the soundtrack. If anybody can find all of the music used in the commercials on the soundtrack, let me know which tracks.....

Decided I'd resurrect this old post for kicks! Pretty funny reading all of these posts... especially with the 2-disc release just around the corner. Heck, in one of my posts, I mention how Prom and Graduation were approaching... WEIRD. That was more than a year ago!

    This thread is unbelievable.

I opened it thinking it was about the score release, and when PeterK mentioned the moviemusic store I was glad it was finally opening. Then I read May 19th and thought 'che?'

Great stuff. I wasn't a member back then. But I remember all the DOTF hype. I personally hadn't been too impressed, and I had thought it was similar to the music from Conan The Barbarian which I had just heard on the silva 'Cinema Choral Classics' release.

Of course, I had it shipped on the 4th, got it on the 18th, and have loved it all ever since.

    Good Job Jeron.
