Real Name: John Takis
Age: 20
Location: Central Michigan
Married? Nowhere close.
What's interesting about me: I'm a zillionaire! I own a mansion! And a yacht!
Well, not really. But I do have the dubious honor of having written an official Star Trek short story ... for money, to boot!
I also do freelance film score writing for various and sundry websites/magazines. Through my mighty publishing endeavors I hope not to be forgotten by my eventual grandchildren. At least not while I'm still alive.
Favorite composers/artists: Near the top, we find Sergei Prokofiev, Jerry Goldsmith
John Williams, Marc Shaiman, Danny Elfman. And ... *sigh* James Horner, I suppose. But I despise him! I really do!
And finally, God ... who, in his infinite wisdom, invented the tuba.
Favorite soundtrack(s): Amongst my favorites are such soundtrack albums as John Williams' "Hook"; Jerry Goldsmith's "Star Trek: The Motion Picture"; Sergei Prokofiev's "Ivan the Terrible"; Angela Morley's "Watership Down"
Why I like Movie Music: I like the frequently spontaneous nature, the creativity involved, and the unique musical possibilities it offers. Being into film helps.
Oh, wait ... did you mean why I like MovieMusic.com? WELL! The people, the prices, PK ... what's not to like? :-) But mostly the people.
Additional Comments: "Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand."
