So,
the dream prophecy starts to become reality
Especially Marian probably remembers that I had some crazy dreams about THE REAL John Williams - who wasn't a composer at all.- - -
Seriously though, I've always found it peculiar why the greatest composer in Hollywood has to have such an everyday-name
- for Heaven's sake, can't the Williams parents think of something better than one of the most used English names in the world (besides which is also one of the most used facilities in the world)KEN

Well, whenever I ever tell someone I'm a big fan of John Williams, I always get the same stock reply "The Guitarist John Williams?"Im thinking......No, not the GUITARIST John Williams but the great COMPOSER John Williams....haven't you ever heard of him?????

I was surprised that a guy named John Williams has somewhat of a resemblance to the composer John Williams--I wonder if he ever gets mistaken for the big JW?

Are you guys for real?A guy shows up with the name of John Williams with the same bolding hair and a greyish beard (not even the same style) and he is a clone (look alike)? The guy does not resemble Williams even a little bit. You guys need some serious visionary aids. LOL!

I think the confusion originally arose when the supposed look-alike was holidaying in London. One afternoon, after a particularly heavy drinking binge, he accidentally stumbled into Abbey studios and staggered up onto the podium drunkenly pretending to conduct. As luck would have it, the orchestra that was rehearsing at the time was none other than the LSO. Legend has it that the drunken jibberish that Mr. Williams sang while on the podium was mistaken for Sanskrit by the members of the LSO!!Gae

LOL Gae!Scott, I dunno, he looks different, but he still does have a lot in common with "our" JW - the hair, the beard, the glasses, the grin... He just looks more...extreme.

Thats what you call an "Attack of the Clones"!! You know the more I think of that title the more it sounds like an allergy of some kind, you know, like an "Attack of the Mumps"
Marian...Yeh, Just as you get "EXTREME" Sports, here's "EXTREME" Williams.
On second viewing I think it would be more appropriate to say that this would have been John Williams had he joined the "Quaker" community and not become the famous composer that he is!!Gae
