I am looking for some modern works which were available on Louisville and CRI records.
I can trade MD, CDRs, or cassettes.
    I am looking for:
    Bacon: Enchanted Island
    Bazelon: Short Symphony
    Bergsma: Carol On 12th Night
    Blacher: Orchestral Fantasy
    Cowell: Any symphonies
    Finney: Symphonies 2 and 3
    Fricker: Symphony No.1
    Garcia-Morello: Variaciones Olimpicas
    Harrison: Symphony On G
    Kay: Serenade
    Lees: Symphony No. 2
    Porter: Symphony No. 2
    Riegger: Any Symphonies
    Sanders: Symphony No. 2
    Stevens: Triskelion, Symphonies, Symphonic Dances

Thanks and email me at mgh1942@hotmail.com if you would like to do some trading.

I don't really know many of these works you have listed, but I DO know that Naxos do a fairly good job at releasing modern American stuff on CD. Just the other day, I saw a Cowell disc in one of my local stores.

Are you looking for just these recordings on LP?

    Hi JJ,
I would be willing to buy them at the right price, but I was thinking more of trading. As I said, I can do MD, CDR, or cassette. I have an extensive library of both classical music and film music, much of it out of print.

    Hey man,
Would you happen to have Sir Colin Davis conducting Pictures At An Exhibition?

    Thanks,
    Shaun

CRI has been doing a great job reissuing their past catalog on CD. Have you checked their website? www.composersrecordings.com.

The CRI site was a find!

CDs by Elie Siegmeister, Tan Dun, Paul Chihara, John Corigliano, & Norman Dello Joio.

And even old LPs by Rosenman, Anthiel, Alec Wilder, Gail Kubik, Louis Greunberg, & Peter Schickele.

    Thanks.
