Heres a good one for you fans. Match the composer with the film he did for WW II.1. Bataan-Robert Taylor mows em down at the end, 1943 with Lloyd Nolan, Robert Walker and Desi Arnaz.
2. Sahara-Humphrey Bogart and boys protect a well from the Nazis, 1943
3. In Love and War-1958, Bradford Dillman and the Marines in the Pacific
4. Pride of the Marines-1945, based on true incidents at Guadalcanal in 1942, starred John Garfield and Eleanor Parker, Dane Clark
5. December 7th-documentary, 1943
6. Midway-1942 documentary by John Ford
A. Miklos Rozsa
B. Franz Waxman
C. Hugo Friedhofer
D. Bronislau Kaper
E. Alfred NewmanClues:
One of the composers worked on three of these. One of the the films above was worked on by two on the list. Three of the composers worked on only one film on list.Good Luck. J.

Sahara has a great score by Miklos Rozsa. In Love & War has a score by Hugo Friedhofer. Being a 20th Century-Fox film from the 50s, it may also have some Al Newman in it.
I have to presume that the 2 John Ford WW2 docs, December 7th and The Battle of Midway, have scores by Alfred Newman. So if In Love & War has Newman in it, he'd be the guy who scored 3 of the list. But do these 2 films have cues by other composers?
Pride of the Marines, being a Warner Bros. film from the 40s, probably has a Franz Waxman score.
Bataan being an MGM film probably has a score by Bronislau Kaper.
One of these films has music by 3 composers and that's the stumper. Could Waxman have worked on In Love & War too? Or does December 7th have cues by Newman, Waxman & Friedhofer or Kaper?
Don't know so this is as close to a solution as I can come.
