Match the films with stars, story or other info. You ready?

    1. Earth vs. Flying Saucers
    2. Forbidden Planet
    3. Galaxy of Terror
    4. Planet of the Vampires
    5. Journey to the Seventh Planet

    A. starred Edward Albert, and Joanie from Happy Days-1982-sets and monsters a ripoff of Alien-totally stupid movie

    B. John Agar and crew fight against fears from their own minds in this, fairly good for low budget-1963

    C. Barry Sullivan and crew get a big surprise on the planet and at end there is another surprise ending-1965

    D. Huge Marlow and Joan Taylor were the stars and Ray Harryhausen did the special effects-1956

    E. Marshall Thompson and Richard Long battle the creature in the spaceship that drains their fluids when he beats them like a madman-1957

    F. One of Leslie Nielsens early roles(while still in dramatic mode), also starred Earl Hollimon, Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, Jack Kelly, etc. pretty fair film-1956

Bonus: What is the surprise ending at end of Planet of the Vampires?

Five titles. Six films. All these off the top of my head without looking them up which is cheating...

My guess is A is Galaxy of Terror though I know nothing about the film or the title. Eddie Albert and Erin Moran? Is this a real film?

B is probably Journey to the 7th Planet which I've never seen but I know has John Agar in it.

C of course is Planet of the Vampires a neat Mario Bava film. In the neat ending it turns out the humans weren't from Earth afterall but somehwere else and as vampires they come to earth to take over. In other words, WE're the Planet of the Vampires, a typical Bava joke.

D is Earth vs The Flying Saucers

E sounds like It! The Terror From Outer Space though I don't remember Richard Long in it. Maybe this is Galaxy of Terror.

    F is Forbidden Planet

And G is for Gee JCW you sure like to watch as much schlocky trash as I do

All correct even getting the extra one. LOL. You are right, Richard Long was not in it. Very good. Yes, Galaxy of Terror was a terrible ripoff of Alien, using all the sets etc. Very poor.

All the rest are correct. Some of these are kind of interesting. Forbidden Planet is my favorite off this list. When we first saw that Id monster in the theatre in 1960 it was awesome. I saw it on TV around 3 years later on Sci Fi Theatre in Ft Worth. Great movie.

    J. And Yes I have seen zillions of them. Mostly when I was young on Channel ll in Ft Worth, Channel 5, Sci Fi Theatre or at the old Sunset Theatre back then. Some late at night o n Channel 8 too. Their all night movies showed many of these.
