One of John Wayne's buddies, which film was he in that was different from the rest and why? What was unique about that film?

    1. Comancheros-1961
    2. Santa Fe Trail-1941
    3. Brimstone-1949
    4. Noah's Ark-1929
    5. Alamo-1960
    6. My Darling Clementine-1947

Then for a bonus, which one was he not in?

    Take care, J.

Buddy "Big-balls" Williams wasn't in BRIMSTONE, which was different from the rest because it wasn't a Western. And yet NOAH'S ARK wasn't a Western, but it was different from the rest because it was silent. So maybe BRIMSTONE was a Western after all.

Eh, odd-one-out NOAH'S ARK 'cos it was silent.

Bonus : Big-balls not in don't know (never even heard of the guy).

Give us a hard chemistry question next, John!

Graham, you crack me up friend.

Quinn "big boy" Williams was Alan Hales comical sidekid in Santa Fe Trail, with Reagan, Flynn and Raymond Massey in the John Brown film, 1941. He was in many westerns back then including others with Flynn.

    The answers:

He was John Waynes buddy-so he was in Comancheros- brief scene in jail, in the Alamo-played the fat Corporal who had several funny scenes over liquor with Chill Wills and a great dying scene in the movie holding two men by the head as he was run through with a sword, He was in Noah's Ark and he was the villain sheriff in Brimstone with Walter Brennan and Rod Cameron-1949. He was not in My Darling Clementine-1947-the Fonda film with Brennan, Ward Bond and Tim Holt, Victor Mature etc.

Noah's Ark was silent except for final part of film which "went talkie". So you were right on that one. Good job. 1929

Brimstone was one of Brennan's best roles as a villain. He was excellent in it. Williams also had a good part in that playing it straight, a serious role.
    J.
