Match the name of the movie with each scene described that it comes from:
1. man chopping a man with an axe, sounds like he was chopping wood in the scene, at end the man and woman alive both scream-starred Vincent Price2. man chops a bouncing rubber balloon with an axe-starred John Agar
3. she cuts off a mans head with an axe and it falls off into a freezer-starred Diane Baker
4. woman takes axe away from the other woman and kills her with it instead-starred Candy Montgomery
5. woman in wheelchair comes down escalator and her head falls off-starred Glenn Corbett
The films to choose from: One answer extra
A. Abominable Dr. Phibes
B. Straight Jacket
C. Conqueror Worm/Witchfinder General
D. Homicidal
E. Brain from Planet Arous
F. this one is a true storyGood luck J.

Great, John! Fun at last! By the way, I tried to reply to your e-mail, but the message came back to me as a spam alert! Just wanted to say that I hope to see you here more often, though I understand that time's as tight as a gnat's arse. But to your question -
Mmm, 5 is D. That head coming off when Helga's wheelchair comes to a sudden stop at the bottom of the stairs gave me nightmares for weeks as a child! HOMICIDAL, interesting movie (and with a Friedhofer score, which is like John Williams doing FREDDY MEETS JASON).
I think 1 might be C. Axe chopping Vincent Price movie when the woman screams. I think that's the end scene of the movie (WITCHFINDER GENERAL). There was talk about this film recently in the "What Have You Seen?" thread. I know you don't like the film, but some of us did!
2-D? I don't know, but I think John Agar was in BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS. Could be the rubber ballon one.
Now I'm struggling. Could the head in the freezer be STAIGHTJACKET (3-B)? I know Joan Crawford was in that. Didn't know Diane Baker was. And if she wasn't, I'm wrong.
No idea. 4-F. That would mean that the woman taking the axe off the other and slapping her with it would a true story. Well, that kind of thing happens every day, but... starring Cindy Montgomery? So, was she for real?
That leaves ABOMINABLE PHIBES. Don't remember any axes in that at all.

I axe-cidentally stumbled into this thread, and if this is "fun," then let's throw in the woodchipper sequence from "Fargo"!!
