This is one tough question. Try your hand at it. If no one gets it soon, clues will follow.

    Good luck fans.

    1. "Carnival of Souls," "Murder Ordained"(TV film), "Cross of Fire"(TV film about KKK), "The Day After"(TV film) and "When Pigdeons Go to Die"(TV film) all except one of these was filmed(many of the scenes in each film) in the vicinity of a town and and/or a large city?
Give the town and the city and the state or states involved.

The other film is situated in a different town and is seen several times in the film. Its the same state as the others.
What is the location of that one?

Two of the films above are true stories. One of those was filmed in the town asked for in no. 1 but was not the real location in the story. The other true story followed facts fairly close and the name of the town is used in the film.

    Good Luck, John.

Bonus: What fairly well known female actress is in two of the films above? Which two?

Mel Harris starred in one of those above. Which?

Well, I know The Day After was set (and I presume shot) in Lawrence, KS because I say it not that long ago but after that I draw a blank.

These are just too tough for me to "rumble," but they're fun to read.

Joan, yes, this was the toughest question I have done yet.

Good to hear from you. I don't post on FSM board any more and rarely here now. Just really busy but I do miss the good interaction with good people like you.

    Best, J.
