This question, fans, relates to some of the worst horror/sci fi films of all time:

From this list choose the film that had flying saucers(plates)hanging by wires:

    1. Teenagers from Outer Space
    2. Invasion of the Saucermen
    3. Rocky Jones, Space Ranger(the feature film put together with three TV episodes)
    4. Plan Nine from Outer Space
    5. Earth vs. Flying Saucers

Bonus: Which of the above films featured rocket ships made of cardboard and cutouts?

Bonus 2: Which film did the aliens bring along a giant lobster creature- a black shadow superimposed on the film, and then turned it loose on the earth to wreak havoc?

Final bonus: Which film starring Hugh Marlowe, had some of the same music from It Came from Beneath the Sea("Mr. Monster" cue) tracked into it?

Good luck, friends. God Bless America. John.

Atleast PLAN NINE FROM OUTER SPACE got hilariously-shaped saucers hanging by wires, and some decorations made out of cardboard - but the other answers I don't know.

I think you must be right, Ken, about Plan 9 and those plates on wires, though to be nit-picky I believe they were actually hubcaps. Remember that scene in Ed Wood which had them filming that scene, with the spaceships hanging from fishing rods?

    John, educated guess time:

Bonus 1: cardboard rocket ships were in...all of these films! Mmmm, but choosing one, I'll say... Rocky Jones (something tells me I'm wrong here).

Bonus 2: lobster shadow creature was in...Invasion Of The Saucermen (was that the one with scrotum-headed aliens that got destroyed by car headlights at the end? Whatever, I think I'm...wrong again here).

Bonus 3: Hugh Marlowe! I think I know this one! He was in Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers. I think that this and It Came From Beneath The Sea were both Columbia films, so they probably both used some of the same tracked music.

    Did I pass?

Excellent, fellows. Gold stars for both of you, Ken and Graham. Correct on everything except the question about the giant lobster creature. Rest all correct. Well done. The lobster creature is from a very bizarre, offbeat film and most obscure one on the list. Its the one in which the aliens are trying to learn how to drive automobiles and use ray guns to leave only bones. John.

And yes, Graham, the Saucermen got killed by headlights, etc. You have seen a lot of these too. John.
