Here is question no. 28 for you-

Jon Hall, star of Hurricane, lots of South Seas films and Bagdad sword epics, and Ramar of Jungle on TV, starred in which one of these low-budget junkers:

    1. Horror of Party Beach-pollution fish men bust up a slumber party

    2. Monolith Monsters-people turn to stone

    3. Leech Woman-Colleen Gray goes on a rampage to stay young

    4. Monster on the Surf(aka Beach)-monster terrorizes beach and has coathangers for fingers and his chest is covered in seaweed

    5. Incredible She Creature-man hypnotizes lady and sends her back(regression) to prehistoric times where she is a lobster monster

Jon Hall was on AMC last night in Invisible Man's Revenge-fairly interesting film from 1944.

Good luck all you fans. John.

Again John, you have me stumped, but because it's about horror, I have some (misguided) intuition.

Jon Hall: Nope, can't picture him, but the name rings a bell. I don't think it was The Monolith Monsters. I saw that, and it was actually rather good. Something tells me it was one of those monster-on-the beach films, maybe Horror Of Party Beach? I'm not sure, something else tells me that there was another monster-on-the-beach movie which I can't place from the titles given, but somehow I know that "Frank Sinatra Jr" did the music. Mmmm, would that be Monster On The Surf?

So I'll say Horror Of Party Beach (I bought that photo-story mag years back. It really impressed me with its gore, but I wouldn't recognise Jon Hall in a million years).

Or maybe I'll say Monster On The Surf.

Hey, all you other people, have a go at this!

Graham, I can't be the only person on this board that knows who any of these people are that I keep putting on here?

Gold star. You got it. Monster on the Surf-really awful film. From 1964 or thereabouts. He is older and out of work so he has to go to these. Horror of Party Beach was really funny. These "Hercules"-looking fishmen walk into a slumber party and kill around 10-12 and none of them can run away???? Come on now, these things are slow. John.

Right John, I saw part of that Monster On The Surf quite recently on TV. I do think that the music was credited to "Frank Sinatra Jr". Was that a joke?

And yes, I think you ARE the only person who knows the answers to your questions! Occasionally something rings a bell with me, but mostly I blunder around blindly. Keep them coming though, it's all an education!
