This may come a little bit late, but anyway...

So, tell me honestly, DID YOU REALLY believe Evy (Rachel Weisz) WAS REALLY GOING TO DIE (totally, completely, not to be brought back to life) when IT happened in The Mummy Returns ???

I'm VERY interested in seeing HONEST answers here.

    Regards,
    KEN

To be honest, Ken, I kinda did. What a tragedy it was, not only because she was so likable and necessary to the plot, but also since she was so gorgeous (almost a completely different person than in the first film, in that respect).

SPOILER (for the three or four people who have yet to see it)!!!:

I'm glad that she was resurrected, though.

    End of spoiler.

Actually I did, but only long before her actual "death" scene... I listened to the soundtrack before I saw the movie, and that's the last scene on there before the suite begins!

But when the scene actually arrived, I knew there was something wrong because there were so many loose ends left to tie up and the movie hadn't yet ended with a bang.

I figured if she did die completely in the movie, she'd be resurrected in Mummy 3.
