    Once again, hello all muggles,

The MPAA has announced that “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone” will be rated:

PG - Rated PG for some scary moments and mild language.

Fans rejoice! And hell with the rumored "G" rating!

Now that I’ve put that rumor to rest, I’m off to find the total running time.

A G-rating is the kiss of box-office death these days. You need to market G films verrry carefully, as Disney did with "The Princess Diaries."

Actually, I heard that "Princess Diaries" performed very well at the box office. Definitely not a failure.

Maybe I heard wrong, though. Do you know otherwise?

As of the close of business on Thursday, August 23, 2001, Princess Diaries has been in release just a few weeks (I'm not certain the exact premiere date), and is currently the #4 boxoffice attraction, with a to-date total domestic (USA) gross of $75,790,079.

    It's a huge hit!
