    Recently, unable to sleep, I tried to exhaust myself by thinking up as many film titles as I could that were changed during or shortly after production. Sort of a trivia quiz, really, so here goes:

    What did these yummy sounding movies actually end up being called?

    DREADNOUGHT
    JOYRIDE
    THE LAST OF EDEN
    RAINBOW WARRIOR

    If necessary, I can be cajoled into giving clues...

    hmmm ... not sure ...

    DREADNOUGHT = UNDER SIEGE

    THE LAST OF EDEN = MEDICINE MAN (although I thought that was Last DAYS of Eden, but perhaps not; it was called other things as well along the way)

    RAINBOW WARRIOR = ON DEADLY GROUND

    JOYRIDE ... could be anything from THELMA & LOUISE to COUPE DE VILLE to FANDANGO.

    Here's three more for you:

    3000

    BOOKWORM

    JESUS CHRIST: LUST FOR GLORY

    You got 'em all except JOYRIDE. Clue: it's NOT a road movie.

    BOOKWORM = THE EDGE.

    I guess BLUE HARVEST isn't very difficult...

    NP: The Secret of N.I.M.H. (Jerry Goldsmith)

    hehehe, BLUE HARVEST

    You got BOOKWORM right. As for JOYRIDE, I could do an IMDb search, but that would be cheating. Since your titles are so Seagal-heavy, almost certainly it's the working title for HARD TO KILL!

    Honestly, I haven't a clue. More hints?

    Joyride is sort of an ironic title, in that the "ride" the hero experiences wouldn't normally create that feeling in anybody ... but therein lies the story.

    The movie is notable for strong use of a particular piece of modern classical music.

    More clues forthcoming if necessary.

    By the way, you were right, twas indeed The Last DAYS of Eden ... mine was a typo ... although The Last Of Eden actually sounds rather nice.

    I'm not proud, I'll use IMDB...

    "Joyride" is the working title for "Fearless."

    But wait... it's not a Seagal movie....

    It was GOING TO BE a Seagal movie, his directorial debut in fact, but that mean old Peter Weir and Jeff Bridges came in and stole it from him, and so he made the masterful RAINBOW WARRIOR instead!

    Steve never quite got over it, and is licking his wounds to this day

    I believe Seagal's next project will be alongside Barbra Streisand, making her first action romance, PANIC SONG. (of course that will probably ALSO have to be retitled to avoid confusion with David Fincher's upcoming PANIC ROOM. STEVE ALWAYS MISSES OUT ON THE GOOD TITLES!

    Two more:

    THE SOLDIER'S WIFE
    MAIDEN, MAIDEN

    Oh, and Kevin is banned from playing because he is a big fat smelly cheat!

    HR: Can we hope that Seagal will kill Steisand in the movie? Please!?!?!?!

    Stephen: Hey! I took a shower this morning! Nyah!

    Too easy, John. "The Flood" became the more interesting "Hard Rain".
