I apologize for the long wait.

    Here's mine:

Hmmmm. Sounds curiously familiar, but I'm not really sure. Any chance of a clue?

The person who said the line has a history of playing characters of multiple nationalities - sometimes in the same film!

Timmer, you're on the right track.

    Another clue:

The script was penned by a famed playwright who was also a screenwriter.

Okay, could it be Sellers in Murder by Death (I forget the character name, but could check on IMDB). That was written by Neil Simon, wasn't it?
Or I could be a million miles off.

The final line in this fairly recent film goes something like this:

a balding man in his late '40s or early '50s and smoking a cigarette says "There is nothing else to say." or something to that effect.

    What film is it? JW.

JW - I will guess THE INSIDER.

Pete M - The only Argento film I've heard of is SUSPIRIA.

Wow. How'd you manage that? It's dead right. Have you seen it? It's well wicked. You should check out more Argento films. Mmmmm.

From a film twenty years ago, here are two quotes:

"I'm a gettin' ready to get angry."

"I'm a gettin' ready to tell you somethin."

Great underrated film of the time. John.

Sorry John, dont know that one!!
Here's mine....its a film from the 90's... makes a change for me...a nice easy one too. Why not eh?? This post needs a fresh start again!

"Yes I saw the intelligence!!...it nearly took my head off!!"

The actor who said this line only appears for a few minutes at the start of the movie but plays his part really well and with nice comic timing. He also played an Indian Officer in "The English Patient". Who is the actor? I know I could check the IMD but its more social and fun this way isn't it? Gae

    I got one right...My turn...

The scene: Some bogus security men have just been dispatched

1st man: How did you know they were fake?

2nd man: They were wearing Battle Of The Bulge Ribbons

1st man: There are no Battle Of The Bulge Ribbons

    2nd man: Exactly!

He always says this when he is stuck in the rear by something sharp, ie tacks, cactus and so on: "I'm losing my mind!"

    Take care, JW.

The answer to the one earlier is Yaphet Kotto in the 1980 film Brubaker with Robert Redford. He was a prison guard and kept saying those things throughout the film. Quite funny. Best, John.
