PeterK...WOW!...to own an ORIGINAL Peak! What a wonderful dream! The only time I ever came close to the original painting surface was when Bonita & I visited the Portrait Gallery in Washington DC. There we came in contact with original canvasses by Norman Rockwell, Richard Amsel & Bob Peak among many others...

    Woof.

And what? No Hard Target poster?

    Just added . . .

Above my closet, two 8x10 pictures: a red, cloth-top convertible 65 Mustang, and sleek and shiney red Harley.

On the wall behind the head of my bed: a collage of fabulous Sandra Bullock pictures I made recently. (I think it's getting harder to tell who I'm obsessed with, hu?)

Wow, I don't think I've ever had a movie poster on my walls. I did have the Star Trek Voyager 1st season poster (it was a pullout from a magazine) up in my bedroom, but I took that down.
These days I have some fantastic reprints of art on my living room walls. I am a big fan of Rembrandt's "The Drapery Guild" so that has a place of honor over my dining table.

What a cool topic! Can't believe I didn't see it earlier. My posters: Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, Con Air, Metro, Gladiator (very cool, just got it two days ago), a huge plastic 10 foot banner for The Gimmer Man (movie was pretty bad, but hey, it was free.) Following the first four with a Jerry Bruckheimer theme, I have this incredible poster called "Tornado on the Horizon" which looks almost exactly like Bruckheimer's production logo (the new green one with the road). I think that's it. I may have a couple more in storage. (Walls are too small.)

I've damaged several from too much hanging, so I don't hang originals anymore. (Being a former smoker didn't help them either.)

I do have a mounted framed print of Robert McCall's painting of Space Station One from 2001:A Space Odyssey, and a framed reprint of the poster from Citizen Kane. I've also been framing these 11x17 reprints of posters I've been picking up at Blowout Video. Right now, there are the five Planet of the Apes movies, Westworld, Rollerball and Blade Runner. I don't mind framing and hanging these, this way I can still see posters that are favorites, but don't have to worry about damaging them and reducing their value.

I also mounted and framed one set of the Golden Age of composers stamp sheets from the post office.

I work at a movie theater so I'm starting a bit of a collection of posters. So far just Erin Brockovich and 28 Days. Also got one of Keiko Abe (badass Japanese keyboard percussionist and composer!)

Now, I will go one step further and tell you all how to get FREE posters from new movies with a minimal of effort and accountability. For big movies, they usually have an invite about a week or so before it opens. It's where all the critics and anyone else who happened to get an invitation (radio stations sometimes give them away) can go see the movie with about 300 other people. Find out what theater this invite is at. Go there and get a ticket for a different movie that ends about two hours after the invite starts (usually 7:30). After your movie is over, lurk around the lobby until the invite lets out. They will probably have a stack of posters layed out for promotional purposes and you can just grab one. I plan on using this technique heavily when certain cool summer movies hit. Enjoy!

Keiko Abe ... I saw her on "Arsenio" once. You know, it was she who talked Maurice Jarre into scoring the Japanese disaster movie TOKYO BLACKOUT in 1987 ... (it was all synths, yes)

Well, on my walls, are pretty much nothing!

Apart from the Aussie hand drawn Babylon 5 poster by Hugh Fleming. Tis a GREAT poster too. A very supurb artist. I believe he has done some of the Star Wars Phantom Menace comics or something.

I also have 2 X-Files and the Star Trek First Contact movie poster.

Still rolled up in the plastic wrap tubes are 2 TPM posters. The 2nd poster and one of all the baddies!

My posters vary, since I have far more than I have space for, but currently I have up in my room:
    The Exorcist,
    Batman,
Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas,
    M:I-2,
Jerry Goldsmith at 70 (RSNO concert),
and on the outside of the door:
    Lake Placid,
    M:I-2,
    The Avengers,
    The Truman Show.
Also in our flat, we have
    Tomorrow Never Dies,
    World is Not Enough,
    Faculty.
