    I'll be short and frank:
What's your opinion on the boot issue of "Twilight Zone: The Movie" by Jerry Goldsmith? How is the sound quality, compared to regular commercial issues? And could you give a total time and track listings?

    Thanks for your help!

The boot was mastered from the tape, and it sounds awful. It's nominally in stereo, with more hiss than music. It's almost 40 minutes long. Goldsmith's score is fantastic, and unfortunately, this piece of #$&% is all we have to listen to it by.

    TNX Swash,

I think i'll pass on this edition. Someday a better boot will surface. At least that is my experience.

    :-)

I agree the sound is not great. It's a little muffled, but if you are a big fan of the music I would recommend grabbing it while you can.Because I seriously doubt another boot will pop up with better sound. The only thing we can hope for is that some record company like Varese or Intrada or even Warner Bros., who originally released the LP,realizes that this score deserves a cd release.
Oh,the running time of the disc is 46:42,and the track titles are:

    1. Overture/Main Title
    2. Time Out
    3. Kick the Can
    4. Nights are Forever (song)
    5. It's a Good Life
    6. Nightmare at 20,000 Feet
    7. End Title
