You've Got MailIt's be better and less time-consuming to just sell everything as a package to a DVD newcomer whose willing to buy my collection rather than have him/her buy everything brand new from a reatail store or a "Mom & Pop brick and mortar" store. My reserve price even beats online prices, considering what's become of them recently.

It's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG story, guys... Has to do with money. I can say only that right now. I'll just have to either slowly rebuild my collection later or just wait for something like Flourescent Multi-Layer Disk or HD-DVD to come out. At least by then 100% of the films I REALLY want will be out on some digital format. Either way, my collection is going...Doesn't matter.- A.

I know the feeling of be forced to sell a prized collection. Mine was a vinyl soundtrack collection I built up over five years, in 1979. Lot's of stuff I could never afford to buy now--ISLAND IN THE SKY (10" Decca), THE LION, and so forth. And, because I was in circumstances where I had to dispose of it quickly, the titles went for pennies on the dollar.
