I dunno... just saw it, but it sounded like Goldenthal, with the slightly spiccato strings, and the clangs... it was definitely ecclectic.Dan? :)

After seeing the trailer for the first time today, I'd definitely say it sounds like James Newton Howard. It sounds like his brand of action music, although I'm sure I haven't heard this piece before. As he's scoring the movie, maybe this is an early glimpse at the his music. I saw the TV spot tonight during the Superbowl and it's the same music that's in the teaser. I think it sounds like new JNH too- but I'd love to know for sure.Tim

Funny - I was completely wrong.I just got it CONFIRMED that the music in the SIGNS teaser is indeed original music by James Newton Howard.
