Its going on 7 years now since I first saw the trailer to Beyond Rangoon And I've always been really interesting the in the music in the trailer. 1994 for me was my pre-film music days. I listened to alot of rap music back then but I did have alot of themes I recorded from TV, and I didn't even know you could buy a score! the thought never even crossed my mind. So this music was particularlly striking to me. About 2 years later, I was shocked to see a copy of Beyond Rangoon sitting in my local Wherehouse music store. I was surprised to learn that Hans Zimmer had written the score, I had just learned about Zimmer a few weeks before when I heard the Crimson Tide and Rock scores. I bought the soundtrack expecting that great trailer music but it wasn't on there! About a year later I saw the movie, and the music was nowhere to be found there either!
Even now in 2001 after buying over 400 score CDs since 1994. I'm still searching for this music in the Beyond Rangoon trailer. http://www.hollywood.com/trailers/beyond/beyond.mov
Please download the trailer and watch it. The music I'm searching for starts in the second half and plays to the end.

Yes I do know that the first half is on the score CD, but the secnond half is not.
