    *international release (excluding North America)

    CD: SILCD1311
    REL. DATE: 22nd February 2010

On 22nd February Silva Screen is set to release DRAG ME TO HELL, Christopher Young’s rich Gothic soundtrack to Sam Raimi’s Frightfest.

Christopher Young previously worked with director Sam Raimi on The Gift and Spider-Man 3. Sam Raimi stated that emphasis was on using the soundtrack to create a world that didn’t exist, a world of the "supernatural."

This is Christopher Young’s third release on the Silva Screen label. Previous releases include Hellraiser and the collection Hellraiser Chronicles (featuring Young’s Hellbound: Hellraiser II).

The two best things I have heard by him so far are this score and that "Resurrection" cue from one of those Clive Barker films. Pretty good. J.

That violin work in the score is very nice.
