A friend of mine and I were taking about this movie and it dawned on me that it's a Zimmer score I don't own and I plan to correct that problem soon.

I was just wondering if a re-release and expanded issue might be coming from somewhere and the thoughts of others on the subject.

I doubt it... but it would be incredibly nice. I bought the remastered CD a while back and I have to say, it's a very well done CD (like pretty much all of Zimmer's CD's). However, there's A LOT of music missing.

I'd still love to see someone release A Legue of Their Own... a cue and a suite just isn't enough for that score!

Yeah, looks like there's only about 30 minutes on the Milan disc. I just ordered it today, excited to get it,

    Bri,

I'm surprised we hadn't talked about this score, as I could've evangelized it to you years ago. I've loved this movie since 1991 and the score is what got me into Hans Zimmer. The fact that you're discovering it now is really cool. For me, it all started here.

My first Zimmer was Crimson Tide

Very much looking forward to getting this one when it arrives on Wednesday!

Backdraft is one movie I really enjoy. However, for the score I really don't remember much about it.

I love the score. I think it's one of the best album presentations ever. I wouldn't mind having the complete music though.

Great score by Hans Zimmer. Also, that Ron Howard compilation CD Passions & Achievements has a superior and better mixed and edited version by Zimmer of "Show Me Your Firetruck" ... Email me for that Brian!

Yeah, I actually bought that CD on overstock.com back in the day for $3. Well worth it IMO.

Unfortunately, one of the main themes from Backdraft has forever been ruined for me thanks to Iron Chef. Oh well

I believe it was "Fighting 17th" ... it really is hilarious to see it on Iron Chef because it's really out of place.
