mp3 samples/track times now available at Amazon under the digital downloads for music section. Looks to be a 40-45 minute release. Nest and Forest Battle sound the most enjoyable, judging from the samples, but this is speculative since 30 seconds or less doesn't give you the whole experience.

I liked "Nest"... Where Hans Zimmer's contribution to the score comes in. Looking forward to this release.

I've given the score a complete listen... Hmmmmm... I don't know. I don't know if there will be a second listen. Maybe there's a lot of great material missing, the album is pretty short; what's there isn't much for anyone to sink their teeth into. Right now, the only cues that have any weight to them are "Prime" and "Nest," IMO. I'll play it in the car on the way to work, see if that helps at all.

Sean, I'd love to know how you got a copy in advance of street date, but then modesty forbids me to ask...

Even "Forest Battle" seems truncated. Of course you do get some nice thematic materials, so as a listening experience, it's an okay album, if not more boring due to the lack of exciting materials. Even 15 minute of generic action materials, spread through out, would have helped this album tremendously.

My workplace generally receives ALL the promotional material associated with big (Warner Bros. and Paramount are pretty generous with this stuff) and small films ahead of their release, and the soundtrack/score is usually part of the package. That's how!
