Alright so I've been a fan of the show for a long time now (well, not a long time, but since the first season ended and I was able to get the DVD's). Anywho, I've noticed there's a lot of catchy music in the show. The theme song is pretty catchy and I love the way Jeff Richmond is able to work with reappearing themes. I also love the songs (Muffin Top is hilarious, as is Werewolf Barmitzvah). Anyone else notice the music in this show? Anyone else watch the show?

I used to be very anti "30 Rock." Being a huge Aaron Sorkin fan, I wanted "Studio 60" to stomp this show out of existence. Sadly, when "S60" was axed from NBC (because people really are dumb) I started watching it, and it's now one of my favorite shows.I can't wait for it to come back in a few weeks. The cast are hilarious and top notch. It will be cool to see it in HD this season

I discovered this after the last Emmys, and am now half-way thru season 1, with season 2 lined up. I'm loving it so far. Too many great characters to pick one out.

30 Rock is awesome! Very funny characters and great writing. I was a huge fan of Studio 60 too, (as well as Journeyman, which is another good show that NBC gave up on) and was completely unhappy that NBC wasn't willing to give it a chance. The soundtrack for the show is outstanding, though I always assumed that they had a great team music editors. I didn't think they have a composer on board.

The composer is actually a producer on the show as well... and Tina Fey's husband.I never saw Studio 60, but I do know people are stupid (learned that after becoming addicted to Arrested Development). As for it being in HD, the DVD's look like a tragedy! Maybe it's because I am used to Blu-Ray by now or something, but they actually almost look out of focus when upconverted. I don't remember them looking that way on NBC-HD. Maybe someday they'll release them on Blu-Ray and I wont have to look at the terrible DVD's again...
