Back on subject.... I will get the score. Of course I can see a lot of mudslinging this score is gonna be getting from film score fans.

I dunno... After Crystal Skull, I wouldn't mind hearing someone else play with Williams' themes that isn't John Williams. I'm getting this score.

I agree with Sean; in fact, I'd love to see Joel McNeely have another go at the SW franchise.

Can't wait to hear what Kiner comes up with. His work on Stargate and what he did with Arnold on Wing Commander was totally fine, if not wholly enjoyable.

    Still, your mom.

The Star Wars Main Title is actually pretty cool... what a variation, and it only lasts 10 seconds.

I kid you not, there is a light saber on every other square inch of artwork, front and back, inside and out. Someone in art dept likes light sabers.

...and Obi-Wan has a secret Iron Maiden tatoo, judging by his theme in "Obi-Wan to the Rescue." There must be a connection to Guitar Heroes somewhere if this is gonna fly with the new kids.

Something about certain elements of score make me think this is isn't in a galaxy so far away... music for Jabba's palace firmly plants the Hutt in the middle east with all the other terrorists, and the nightclub music places the clone wars in south Chicago.

But other than that, this one's pretty fun. What it should be.

    PK

I listened to the 30 second clips on Amazon and the main title reminded me of some of those disco versions from the 70's.

I'm looking forward to this... the clips sound like a lot of fun. The guitar for Obi-wan was a bit surprising, but it doesn't shock me that some exec or whoever might think this is a "new and fresh" way to approach music for the character. Who knows. Cool variation on the main title!

I am surprised. Thus far I find myself liking what I hear. Only the future will tell, once I got it.

Andrew, you rogue, I'd just watched an episode and than popped in this hilarious! trance song that opens up season 2. HAHA! Had me on the floor laughing. "I can be the called the Viceroy!" Also, Venture Bros. has, hands-down, the best version ever of "Mars, The Bringer Of War"!

Anyway, do you want to know how I got these scars!?
