Just thought I'd share! Some neat stuff. Consider me the Erik Woods of Jeremy Soule, I guess.

Looks sharp. As for the music, I can't tell how much is real orchestra and how much is synth. The brass sounded real. The strings didn't. The melody is striking, a little reminiscent of something like Crimson Tide, and yet without sounding like Zimmer, if that makes sense.

It's pretty cool that the dramatic material of video games allows for the kind of bold music we don't hear much in theaters. There seems to be more importance and value put on an orchestral score for a video game than for a film these days. Or it just seems that way sometimes.

Try this, Al: It's all sampled.

I'm impressed. But I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised. This is not Soule's first rodeo, so I imagine he knows his way around samples by now. That sampled brass really does have a nice oomph to it.

Jeron, since you're the Erik Woods to Soule's Giacchino, can you ask him when he'll pay that damn child support?

Screw you! I was on the phone with Giacchino last night! And Ryan was "talking" to Brian Tyler about Eagle Eye, too! HA! I think Dan was probably talking to himself...
