Williams, now 76, was conductor of the Pops from 1980 to 1993. According to industry reports, he remains a busy man, with soundtracks for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," "Jurassic Park IV," and "Superman: Man of Steel" all scheduled for his touch.

That sure would be nice; not sure how excited I'd be for a JP4, but having Williams music for Potter and Superman would rule. Of course, I'm gonna call bullshit on this. As far as I know, Potter is still Hooper and if Singer directs Superman, we'll be up for another round of SuperOttman.

This has been posted as a BS article. It's been suggested the person who wrote this didn't do any proper research and got the info from IMDB and we all know how reliable they are when it comes to movies that have yet to come out.

Anyways it's been reported Nicholas Hooper was going to score the last Harry Potter film and with Singer doing Superman: The Man Of Steel no doubt John Ottman will be back for that one since he's Singer's composer.

For Jurassic Park 4, that might be the only possible one.

I am aware of this, just tossing it out there for people to see.

LOL... your thread subject doesn't intimate that you are at all "aware of this," otherwise you wouldn't be asking the question "Williams returns to "Potter," "Jurassic" and Superman"?"

    Jeron,

I was very much aware of Hooper and Ottman and their respective roles.

I found this and thought I'd share it in case something had changed in those roles, nothing more.

You've completely lost it, Brian, it's time to sit before you fall down. You're a menace and a dangerous, loose cannon bent on typing wild rumours wherever you see fit to spread evil. You need to be stopped.

Personally, after KOCS I think Williams should take a break from sequels, franchises and comic book films. What I'd love to hear from him now is a romantically-infused horror/suspense score ala "The Fury."

Actually, Hooper was confirmed for Half-Blood Prince, but that he'll score Deathly Hallows is nothing more than speculation if you ask me.

I think you hit the nail on the head, Sean. Thanks for driving my point home.
