Hmm . . . I need more time with these.

And maybe I need to listen to the full release.

I'm liking the sounds of the score. Unfortunately, I think that might be the only thing I like about the movie. I hope that I am completely wrong!

    I don't like the score, it's too cartoonish/childish.
Except the MOH scores and Incredibles, i must say that i don't like Giacchino's musical style.

I agree with John Steel. IMO, this score is VERY uninteresting and boring. I hope Star Trek is better, or as funny as Andrew and I predict.

Funny that you say that because you are going to get LESS music on the Varese album.

I'm not a person who prefers complete scores, though. I do like them when you get some alternate cues or maybe some that weren't available in the initial album that should've been. But I can't shift through these two hours of music that isn't quite catching my ear. What I meant to say was, I should probably wait for the Varese release where I can sort through 45-60 minutes of this, and then I can make my opinions known. It isn't good so far.

I know what you mean. I just heard the new Indy score and it's too adventurous and archaeological.

The movie is specifically made for 7 and 8 year olds. Kind of like the HARRY POTTER movies. Only those were co-opted by adults. Who need to get a life.

After listening to the score this is something I can't listen to it all the time. I hope that his Star Trek score is good. I honestly can't get into Giacchino's music like alot of other people can. I just never have understood why people like his music so much. Most of music is just campy for me.

Wow I totally read one of the posts wrong on here! Sorry!

Anyway, I don't think the film or it's score are my cup of tea. No biggy though, as I am sure someone will enjoy them... At least I hope...
