    Hi there,

The forth and unfortunately last (here in Lucerne, Switzerland) live performance of Howard Shore's teriffic score for "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" has taken place yesterday evening.

But as you might know, with The Fellowship of the Ring the Trilogy has just yet begun and because this live performance was (/is: more performances coming in canada) such a hugh success we'd like to bring you all The Two Towers as well.

Ticket pre-selling will most likely start on September 2008! The Two Towers-Live Performance is planned to premiere during March 2009 in the KKL Lucerne.

For further informations visit www.artproductions.ch (german only)

    Hope to see you there,
    -BasilB

    Basil,

Thanks for the heads up. I had one question, however...

Does this imply that there will be no performances in the United States??

    Hey NeoVoyage,

    No, it doesn't.
so far, there is only the performance in Canada fix planned.
But I know that there are discussions going on about London and Los Angeles.
More news on this should be realised soon. Stay tuned for official press realise!

    All best,
    -Basil

I can't believe it hasn't hit the U.S. yet. I would love to see this live, but being busy with school and work has made it impossible for me to leave the country at this time. I live right outside of L.A. so a performance there would be perfect!

I would drive or fly 1,200 miles to L.A. to see it.

I could drive 950 miles to Winnipeg to see that one, but neither Howard Shore or Doug Adams is going to be there, so I ultimately decided to wait for an American performance.
