Hey guys I enjoy Rabin at times but then again he gets boring at times. I do have Armageddon and National Treasure. I did have Enemy of the State, The 6th Day and Deep Blue Sea but i traded them to Peter. Are there any other scores worthy to pick up? Thanks ps I sure hope National Treasure 2 gets a release.

I would get Con Air and get Deep Blue Sea back.

Try American Outlaws. And if you can hunt it down, Texas Rangers. If you like that Rabin western sound.

Yeah, Deep Blue Sea is his only score I like in its entirety.

Someone needs to teach Trevor Rabin how to make a CD. See, you don't freaken put the huge tracks at the beginning and fill the rest of the CD with 30-60 second tracks. You gotta space it out and make it enjoyable for the listener. I think Armageddon was the only CD where I felt the pacing was alright. As for recommendations:

    Con Air
    Armageddon (which you already have)
Bad Company (the suite on the album is nice)
    Deep Blue Sea
    American Outlaws
    Enemy of the State
    The 6th Day

That's about it I think. Gone In 60 Seconds is an alright CD that needed to have different music on it. I don't care that it's only 30 minutes long, but the 30 minutes that's on there could've been much much better. The One has a couple cues I like... litterally a couple. Ok, well 1, 10, 12, 14 if I remember right. Other than that it's just kind of noise.

The Great Raid is excelelnt. Flyboys and Gridiron Gang are solid but unspectacular. Snakes on a Plane is his worst album.

    Rabin scores? All of them!!!

And ID4 wasn't seriously annoying cheesy to you folks over a decade later? ONe of the loudest and dumbest movies to ever grace cinema screens. Luckily, for its sake, it had Jeff Goldblum and Harvey Fierstein. Snakes on a Plane is great B-movie thrills. It has more going for it that ID4, IMO.

NATIONAL TREASURE for every single bit of its musical score, FLYBOYS, the fantastic suite from THE GUARDIAN, BAD BOYS 2 and if you like kick-ass techno / electronic stuff with heavy, rock electric guitars try TORGUE and GONE IN 60 SECONDS along with DEEP BLUE SEA for its powerhouse MV anthems and his absolute best score to date - imo, REMEMBER THE TITANS

These are the ones I like so far by him:

Deep Blue Sea with the tune used in Shrek again. National Treasure and the Great Raid. These are my top three so far. J.

I got National Treasure and was kind of dissapointed. I also noticed that it over-scored the movie a little bit with that typical action beat that served to pace the editor more than actualy help tell the story. This is typical non-zimmer Media Ventures/Bruckheimer fare at either it's best or worst, depending on if you liked the tunes or not

ID4 is a big summer turkey that's fun to watch every couple of years, so give it a break. Besides, I'm in it for the score.

Yeah, National Treasure is a pretty hard listen, imo. My favorite Rabin score, currently, is The 6th Day. I actually do not like Deep Blue Sea all that much. I'm surprised so many others do.
