For goodness sakes, for the final time, Danny Elfman had NOTHING to do with this movie!James

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Elfman was involved in this project whatsoever!

Ok, Ok, I was just asking. No need to get your panties in a tangle. Thanks for the more civil response, Erik.[Message edited by Camillu on 12-13-2007]

Well perhaps if you had been paying the slightest bit of attention to what you were posting, you'd have your answer. It's right there in the credits AND it's been discussed over & over since Burton announced he was doing a film adapatation of Stephen Sondheim's musical. If I'm snippy, it's because of a low tolerance for people who don't pay attention and are lazy. There are plenty of ways for you to have you answer if you put forth the effort.

I was posting the link to the opening credits, and I asked a question. I don't care what you have tolerance for, and I'm deeply sorry if I didn't scour the internet for details before asking a simple question. And for the record, I'm not lazy, but more importantly I'm not a stressed out, tightly-wound, anal-retentive freak either.

No. You're just too lazy to look at the link you posted that has your answer right there.

Well, from someone who works 12-hours a day and has a wife and two children, I will submit that I don't have time to research a superfluous issue such as this either.Loosen up your jock-strap a bit James.
Your rant took more time than a simple and civil answer. Apparently, you do have ample time on your hands.

Yeah. I happen to have ample time on my hands. And it's not my fault that you're married with children. But c'mon, he posted the stinking credits online. Can't you just watch the damn thing and have your answer?Merry Friggin' to you all too.

You know what... I want some of James. It's unfair Camillu gets it all:I heard Elfman wrote music for this film? Is this true? I am upset he wasn't nominated for a Golden Globe.
James, do you know anything?

Of course, I am kidding. We all have our bad days.If you guys want to be constructive, why would you ask for someone to loosen their jock strap and then make comments that tighten it up even that much more?
Come on. James has been here a long time and he has a bad day and people act like he's a new flame warrior that needs to be snuffed out.

Actually Peter,Elfman wrote all the songs, dialog and even wrote the words seen on the signs and such on the set. He wrote EVERYTHING. You know, Tim Burton doesn't make a move (or movie) without him.
Heaven forbid. ;-)
Did you see the credits? I think Elfman even was the corset lacer for Helena Bonham Carter. He did everything.

Sorry, Peter but after about 6-years of posting here myself, I am consistent in my derision of simple rudeness.I frequently come here to tap the knowledge of the member base. Mr.James can simply not respond at all. Oh, and who implied I was trying to be constructive!

No ones fault that I have a family (except perhaps my sperm). It is a simple fact of life, kind of like your lack of civility.
Happy Holidays right back at ya!

My last two comments were not aimed at you Peter. Otherwise, if you want to turn the gun on me in this odd defense of James, by my guest.

It's odd that you or anyone would defend politeness with very negative weapons (even use the words "pointing a gun"). My point is all about defending politeness, but in a constructive way that has a positive effect. Second time I've said it now.

After all, what would a Christmas be without the likes of Elfman? There's Family Man, Edward Scissorhands, Scrooged, Batman Returns... and now Sweeney Todd! Am I forgetting any?
