COMPOSER STEPHEN BARTON LAUNCHES OFFICIAL WEBSITE
(27 NOV 2007). Prolific British film composer Stephen Barton has just launched his official website. At merely 25, he’s considered as one very promising young film music composer. Recognition and respect in the industry was gained through his long-time and close collaboration with the well-known composer, Harry Gregson Williams. Stephen has accomplished an impressive filmography so far as one the leading members of the former’s team.
Stephen’s responsible for additional music compositions for renowned scores like Shrek 2 and Shrek the third, the upcoming The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian but also The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and others like Kingdom of Heaven, Team America: World Police, Déjà vu, Flushed Away and The number 23.
Most importantly he’s the composer of the original score for Activision’s outstanding and highly acclaimed new video game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and the composer of the beautifully romantic original score for Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont.
Stephen’s also registered with other musical assignments like conducting the Seattle Symphony Orchestra for Harry’s Man on fire plus arranging and orchestrating. The newly-launched official website is the perfect way to get in touch with his quality work.Official website for composer Stephen Barton http://afterlightinc.com/

I thought his music for Call of Duty 4 was pretty mediocre for the series. I also felt the game was quite a let-down; especially after the high ratings it received in every gaming publication. It's feels like a been-there, done-that game; it could have really been great.
