This one I intended for round three; but I really liked Stargate's suggestion. So, I'm moving this battle to round four. John Williams is our composer, and dinosaurs once ruled the Earth:

    Corner 1: Jurassic Park

    Corner 2: Stepmom

    GO!

    Stepmom?

Jurassic Park by a mile. Excellent score in every aspect.

    Jurassic Park...what is stepmom?

Lost World would at least have a chance!

Dinosaurs are old. Now think of some of the cast members from the film.

These are the times when I wish that Williams had scored Cocoon; or at least On Golden Pond.

At least Erik got the in-joke.

You folks can vote for The Lost World if you'd like; I would too. You just better not hope that it makes its way into another poll.

Jurassic Park hands down. Dennis Steals The Embryo, The Raptor Attack, Journey to the Island? Fantastic! No competition.

Perhaps a Williams Sequel Poll? I am waiting for Munich Vs. Memoirs of Geisha... But I vote for Jurassic Park (though I actually found that aside from a couple of tracks on Jurassic Park, The Lost World was more listenable outside of the film).

    I got the joke... lol.

I'm not sure how you can pit Stepmom against JP... both are great scores -- Stepmom is certainly one of Williams' better "softer" efforts in recent years with some tender melodies that really helped the film. Jurassic Park probably wins just by the good graces of its own iconic popularity. 9/10 people will call out JP over Stepmom any day -- a monkey would, too.

For this reason, I vote for Stepmom, for the same reasons people would vote for Ron Paul.
