Wow, so the CD is not dead yet. On the contrary, I don't think I've ever seen the Christmas line up of new soundtracks for Nov/Dec as big as it is now... and we're not even counting the 4 or 5 Varese clubs coming on the 19th.

Check this out. Lots of new releases up now for pre-order, many with artwork already. Three JN Howard scores (Water Horse looks promising for Peter Pan / Treasure Planet /Waterworld fans), three game soundtracks from sumthing else, a Graeme Revell score, sheesh:

Anything on there strike your fancy the most? Or... what's your Christmas wish list look like from these new releases?

For me, I am most interested in the new eDGe CDs... the Deutsche Grammaphon ones. The Kite Runner and Youth Without Youth.

Atonement looks good, too, based on the clique of artists collaborating again. Their last one was superb. And if Franzie likes it, well.... let's just say he's our resident litmus tester.

So 3:10 TO YUMA is actually getting a CD release?!? That's good news! Glad I didn't bother to download it.

There are a lot of releases that aren't even listed there coming too. Intrada is announcing a new title on 11/15 for a 11/19 shipping date. It's a 2 CD release. And Roger & Doug have both said they may even have 3 or 4 more before the end of the year.

Then there are all those Silva Screen titles: SILK, DOCTOR WHO SERIES 3, AND WHEN DID YOU LAST SEE YOUR FATHER?, etc.

I guess it's going to be the poorhouse for us come New Year.

    James

Thanks for finally fixing the spelling on BEOWULF. HEHEHEHE

Peter, why isn't Sean O'Neill's new score for Rambo listed up with the new releases? Varese confiremed a late December release for his score.

Nuts, please clone me for Christmas. I can't answer all your questions without another me. You ask the hardest, most difficult, hard, really difficult, most hardest, difficult questions, ever. Maybe I can save some time by being less redundant. Hmm...

It's not bad. Not a personal favourite for me of Iglesias's work, but still fairly strong.

Usually I get packages from MovieMusic through the mail service. That would be very cool if Iglesias delivered it himself, though.

Is that a new thing, Peter? We can get actual deliveries from the composers? Can I get Sean O'Neill to deliver my copy of Rambo?
