I recently saw the trailer. Looks like yet another classic tale turned into a Lord of the Rings clone.

LOTR clone? I think you mean 300 clone... Except in this case it'd be called "One" which would confuse people. They'd be like "The One?! WHERE'S TREVOR RABIN?!?!" Know what I mean?

Pay full price ($3 more) and pay more expensive shipping? Why in the world?

Was this a joke post poking fun at some recent FSM posts?

I'm looking forward to the score more so than I am the movie. I'm still not convinced this CGI thing was a good idea.

Wow! 46 minutes of an epic, rousing Silvestri score. Great news!

I'll hold out for the promo.

Maybe the movie is only 46 minutes long? ... But seriosuly, maybe it's a very solid 46 minute album.

It's apparently this series of movies that some people watch repeatedly for days, weeks, months, years straight analyzing to the point of making a normal (and by normal, I mean someone that goes outdoors) human being sick.

But maybe Robin Wright Penn sings for all of those 46 minutes!

Very good commentary/review on the score and on issues surrounding plagiarism vs derivative works. I like the blog.
