Did any Zimmer fans notice the similarity to Hans' As Good As It Gets? The twinkling piano theme and the sustain string line in "My Own eyes" is spot on example of temp track influence. "Cee, You and Tea" starts out with almost an exact replica of the AGAIG clarinet theme.

Don't get me wrong, I like this score. But I love AGAIG more and the scattering of AGAIG matterial is quite distracting from what could have been a great sequel album to Pride and Prejudice.

The setting of the ideas is different enough for me to not be bothered by it. I did think that at times Marianelli strayed a bit close to THE ENGLISH PATIENT.

Also interesting - there's a theme that appears in both Marianelli's ATONEMENT, and his other recent score, THE BRAVE ONE. Caught me off guard when I heard the latter.
