nuts, you misunderstood me. I don't think FSM is any kind of definitive board. I'm just saying if it was legit info, it would have made it's rounds to the FSM discussion board, not to mention every other film music discussion board. Especially something as big as Rambo.

And I post at moviemusicuk more than anywhere else, really.

Ive bumped some old threads asking about some old scores, but nobody cares to respond, or just doesn't have anything to say.

FSM message boards are a barometer for BORING. I became a member there and there's absolutely nothing fun/interesting about the place worth posting.

What's an FSM? And Nuts, I happen to think this place is insulting. It has lowered my intelligence level and! I was taken off of the project "T.W.I.N.E." by the President of Everything here! This place hurts my feelings. My only hope for T.W.I.N.E. is that one day, I'll be able to make my project come to life... Much like those 2 Exorcist prequels that no one saw. But I think I speak for everyone here when I say, I find comfort in Rambo...

Honestly, the reason that it hasn't been announced on any other board, is because the news hasn't become official yet. I mean, who knows if Sly won't like O'Neill's score and can that one too only to get Ramin Djawadi as a replacement?!

There will probably be an official announcement in December. That's how these things work.

Actually, I enjoyed some of the stuff in Rambo II and kind of liked the first film. The third one was flat funny. I am sure this one will be even more funny. And of course I loved the Goldsmith music, esp the trumpet and drum work in part II. Really great.

Having just conversed with the composer Sean O'Neill I can gladly tell you that his score is coming along masterfully. His aforementioned "King Cobra Theme" is shaping up very nicely; it sounds remarkably like Steve Jablonsky's "Autobot Theme" from Transformers. And for good reason too: Mr. O'Neill has been taking piano lessons from the guy who taught Steve Jablonsky.

Still no word on artwork and track titles/times. Hopefully Varese will have them up at their site shortly.

January 25th! It's just a month and a half away!

I love the way the brass develop that quirky run through the 'Losing an Eye', 'Losing an Arm', 'Losing a Wallet' arc. When it comes back for the Chinese chorus, bass drum and flute in 'Losing a Life', you just know someone's about to buy it. Beautiful work, Sean.
