HGW is a hit and miss for me too. I didn't care for the music...err...soundscapes in Seraphim Falls or Number 23. When teamed with Powell, he composed some great music for Antz, Chicken Run and Shrek. I also really liked his Sinbad score and his Narnia score. Gone Baby Bone has some effective music that dovetails with the visuals. I recently watched the rarely seen movie The Whole Wide World. (It is the story of the author of the Conan series.) The music was lovely.I guess I'll just wait and see.
