Michael Brook, the co-composer of INTO THE WILD, talks about his acoustical score for Sean Penn's acclaimed movie in a new edition of ON THE SCORE at Film Music Radio (at www.filmmusicradio.com) From his music for HEAT, guitar playing on BLACK HAWK DOWN, and his solo soundtracks for such films as ALBINO ALLIGATOR, AFFLICTION and AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, Brook has become one of Hollywood's most notable guitar-driven composers. Now for this in-depth interview, Brook discusses how his beginnings assisting such famed ambient musicians as Brian Eno would lead to his biggest assignment yet on INTO THE WILD. Composed along with Eddie Vedder and Kaki King, Brook reveals his major contribution to the film's soundtrack- something which is being overlooked in the push for the film's bigger musical "star."

It's the kind of revealing show that you'll only find at On the Score. And stay tuned to our program archives to listen to Charlie Clouser (SAW), Rob Zombie and Tyler Bates (HALLOWEEN), Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (ONCE) and Marc Shaiman (HAIRSPRAY).

    Thanks for tuning in!
