I recently called La La Land for some info on the shipping of Bay Boys which I recently ordered. The guy i talked to said Bay Boys has been selling quickly. I thanked him and said I was glad they are the few labels that notice what score fans want. I asked him wif there were any Zimmer releases in the future. He said that it is possible and mentioned " The Fan" League of thier own" " Bird of a wire". Now he did'nt say they were actually going to release these titles but isn't it nice to know that they are paying attention to out needs. The way he talked we may see more popular titles released in the near future. I thanked him and said we all appreciate it. I just thought this was good news for all of us!!! Way to go La la land

Holy crap... That is the weirdest thing ever, I just e-mailed them last weekend to see if there's any possible release of The Fan! I'd love to get The Fan and League Of Their Own. I'd also love for Mancina's Money Train (naming Sony movies here).Clayton

Jeez i almost forgot now that you mentioned Money Train. The Gentleman also mentioned Money Train about a future release when i was talking about Mancina. Now lets not get over excited and by no means am I saying that he told me that these would be released but rather that thy are considering them. Either way though its great news that we have people that know what scores we want to have.

I am just glad people are looking into these scores. I thought these were forgotten... Which is sad because Money Train is one of my favorite action scores, and The Fan is one of my all time favorite scores in general (as you can see from any of my previous posts talking about the score).Clayton

I thought it was a coporate "no,no" to discuss such company plans before an offical public announcment?[Message edited by TimT on 10-06-2007]

The management at La La probably doesn't appreciate it, but it's not like they're a public company. I don't understand all the secrecy with new releases. It's not like anybody has anything to gain or lose by keeping it a secret. If anything, it would probably be beneficial to La La to announce their plans in advance to get people to stop passing around crappy boots.

Theres no unwritten rule....if a company wants you to keep something to yourself, then they should make that known before they release such information to you. Its kind of a no brainer.

However, I can't imagine the guy just casually tossing these titles out if they're top secret. Also, all he said was that they were looking into it, not that there was some super secret release planned.

Again Guys the gentleman I spoke with did NOT promise anything what so ever. We were just discussing scores and those names came up from him. He made no promises or anything. I just thought it was cool that they obviously know these titles are wanted by us. By no means am I trying to spill any un released info from LA LA Land. I just thought it would be cool to share with you what i was told.
