So it's my turn for one of these questions... I'm currently ripping all my CDs to my computer, and came across a 33 track version of Starship Troopers for which I don't have any track titles. I believe it's a pre-DVD iso score product. Does anyone have the titles for me?

Yes, that's all I've been able to find myself. I used to have a cover for this somewhere, but I haven't seen it in years.

It's quite amazing how many different versions of this score are out there. Thanks everyone, but mine's still not on those lists.

My version has 75 minutes of music on 33 tracks, the longest of which is track 28 with a running time of 10:03.

That would be the end credits. My guess is a couple of ear shattering songs follow this cue on your set?

It might be helpful if you posted the track lengths.

As far as I remember, the last two or three tracks were labeled as alternates or unknown cues... I'd have to listen (and possibly re-watch the DVD) to figure out if they're in the movie.

I've always been curious about this score but have absolutely no desire to see the movie... Didn't this release also have like 4 different sets of artwork for it too? I seem to remember something like that...

    Hey, you never know...

I have a couple of versions of Starship Troopers on my home computer. I'll cross reference the track times and let you know what matches.

You know, the movie does indeed suck but it's a fun ride (as it's meant to be). You should check it out if you ever have a couple of hours to toss away. Now, Starship Troopers 2... there's absolutely no inclination to see that.

Brilliant, Tim, thanks! I had a feeling you'd have this too, but I wasn't sure. I should drop you a mail someday.

The German and US covers are different, at least. The film, by the way, is quite a brilliant satire, although many don't seem to realise that (including the German translators, who "censored" the most satiric bits... always seems to me like dubggin a WW2 movie and making the Nazis more likeable...)

Oh, and just to repeat what I've said countless times before: This score NEEDS an extended official release. Badly.

Wedge are you sure Radio Shack is supposed to go after Bugs? I'd think it would be the other way around, especially from a musical point.

BTW Wedge I sent you an email.

Timmer I figured out most of your unused cues are (thanks to Marian).

    #1 - Ticonderoga (Alternate)

#2 - The Break Up (Alternate)

#3 - Not quite sure what that one is...might be an alternate Fed Net cue...

#4 - Friends Forever (Beginning Unused)

Friends Forever most of it was used in the film but there's an unused beginning from 0:00-0:20.

    #5 - Radio Shack (Unused)

I remember hearing Radio Shack many years ago so I knew instantly what it was.
