    Intrada announced two tonight:
    http://www.moviemusic.com/soundtrack/hercules1983
    http://www.moviemusic.com/soundtrack/sevenupsverdict

    This make:

    4 from Intrada

    5 from Varese Club

    3 or 4 from FSM

    1 Perserverance

    2 MovieScore Media

Just about 15. That's nearly 4 new limited editions every week.

Any otherse for July? There must be... but even so. I remember not so long ago when it was about 5 per month on a good month.

Start fillin' them sandbags because here comes a flooded market!

    What was the Perserverance release?

As for Intrada's latest, I just have to let these ones go. I'm intrigued, but there's just too much stuff out there to just go with something that intrigues me.

Perseverance did Bloodsport, though technically that might have been a late June release.

I ordered up both these new Intrada ones, and I'm really looking forward to the Ellis/Mandel disc. The clips sound great.

I'm still waiting for FSM's supposed impending King's Row

I really hope it gets released before I go away to college, but if not, i'll just buy it over thanksgiving or christmas.

And yeah, oops, I ignored the biggest limited edition this year, let alone this month. Wanna guess?

Limited Schmited. There's just as much, if not more, exciting wide releases. Brian Tyler's "War" is coming soon...the last Harry Potter score just came out...there's plenty in the "general" release at affordable prices to keep one occupied before exploring the more expensive obscure stuff. Of course there's plenty of well known gems that come out limitedly, but thats not really the point.

I think the last limited CD I got was PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES.

And isn't Intrada releasing a 2 disc sometime soon too that they say everyone will want?

Ya the 2-CD set I believe will be announced August 7th. What it is, no one knows except for Intrada. I guess we'll find out then.

Hard to imagine it could top Godzilla (which i passed), but I'll consider this one! Of course you can never say "everyone" wants something, so it has to be something really damn popular, Back To The Future? Masada? We'll see. I have no idea, but I can't wait to see what Prometheus reissues next as they have been my favorite 'limited' releases for quite some time---being able to get king solomon's mines, quigley down under, farewell to the king and flesh + blood at affordable prices---best thing ever.

TJ, your dreaming if you think its "BTTF."

I doubt that will ever happen.

I don't think it will happen as long as that song album makes Universal big bucks, but I also don't think this release is something that "everybody will want" necessarily.

You know, the song is not bad, but I'd love a score.
