Bruce Broughton goes over top, creates incredible symphonic picture replete with dynamic ideas for monsters, thundering action cues, tender moments for kids, several lengthy sequences, you name it! Massive orchestra plays to the hilt throughout with chorus in tow for amulet sequences. LOL, Brian isn't all that telepathic. There was a lot of behind-the-scenes discussion that influenced his "prediction"... I began hearing rumblings of a Monster Squad release well over 2 years ago... But, happy about this nonetheless, and glad that an official announcement has finally been made. Sign me up for 2!

I remember seeing it in 1987 either on tv or on tape... damn scariest movie I'd seen up to that point.

It's only $12.99 at Canadian Best Buy stores, so I'll pick one up next time I drop by.
