Brian, the article is actually titled "Music that Meets the Eye" ... so that, coupled with your "a score is coming" ... instead of "a storm is coming" ... big eye rollage here. Why does everything have to be so dramatic?
Cool photos from Dan, looking forward to Steve's work. He's a very talented guy.

Yes, Jeron, I am aware of that. I wanted to go with something different. Get over it.And the "a score is coming" comment was because I do know that there are some people who don't feel like clicking links and reading an article, they just want to know.

That's weird... I didn't get dramaticness from that at all. I normally pick up on that type of thing because it bugs the crap out of me, but I thought it was just the title of the article or just the tagline from Transformers, and then the "a score is coming..." part was a direct no B.S. way of saying... "a score is coming".Anywho, can't wait for this one! Robots, explosions and chases, oh my!

Um, what exactly are you two fighting about?I thought Nick Glennie-Smith was a woman ...
But I'm very much looking forward to Transformers! I just hope it's better than that other childhood revival movie this summer (The Turtles).posted 05-29-2007 08:27 PM PT (US)

I'm more interested in Brian pie, actually.
Though I do look forward to the progress of Jablonsky's career with this score, Mike Bay's Transformers couldn't be more groan-inducing of a movie concept.Summer '07 = Teh Suck (minus Pirates 3 (more on that later) and Stardust)

I don't know what you guys were talking about, but you mentioned pie... Then I thought, hey, wouldn't it be cool if Brian and Jeron bought us all pie? So now I think that if you go see Transformers or buy the potentially awesome score by Steve Jablonsky, you will get a free pie from Jeron and Brian!!! AWESOME!!!Clayton

I hope Steve Jablonsky uses Vince DiCola's themes and Stan Bush's song, "The Touch."

It sounds more like a wet dream coming from Sean. He immediately had to post a MySpace comment on my profile of the noise that Optimus Prime makes when he transforms . . . yawn.

HAHA!!! You bastards: Jeron and nuts!I saw the standy for Transformers at the theatre the other day and pointed at the cartboard kid and his girlfriend in-between Megatron and Optimus Prime and said, "That's the part of the movie that's gonna suck!" and then I proceeded to walk into Bug and found the new meaning of pain, worse than the Sarlak, I imagine.

Can I be any more of a nerd if I correct your spelling of the Star Wars creature you are referring to? It is spelled, Sarlacc. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAposted 06-01-2007 10:27 AM PT (US)

Nuts! ... Bug! Where to begin: I imagine the ending will BUG people! LMAO! (I’m probably the only person alive who thinks that’s funny!) The movie is just ridiculous. Its hilarious watching Kiss The Girls slap herself in the face constantly because she thinks bugs are invading her body. And the pizza delivery scene! HA! OMG I was in hysterics by that point... Many people actually walked out of this film (something I NEVER do, but was tempted). There was a funny bit where I turned to a buddy of mine, in the scene where the dude is explaining to Kiss The Girls that this secret society meets every year at some fancy hotel and plans world domination (their name slips my mind at the moment: S.P.E.C.T.R.E. maybe?) by keeping the status quo of rich people getting richer and poor people getting poorer, and shouted "WHAT!?" like it was some kind of big revelation to me that the truth had finally be revealed about the world by William Freidken (HAHA! Of course it was pure BS but people laughed and it made my tummy feel good). Yeah anyway... We all have to remind ourselves that Friedken did do the The Guardian where someone fights a tree with a sword! Exciting stuff.SARLAC??? HAHA! BackToTheFutureFan that's damn funny! You know, I comtemplated looking up the right spelling before I typed in the word but I was too confident in my nerdiness! Since you like Back To The Future so much than feast your eyes on this! Shame on Bug, the early reviews were mixed though the critics that showered praise on the film were usually the ones I trust (Ebert). Although your analysis is quite interesting, I'll definitely check the film out on DVD; something tells me you were drunk during the screening.
I'm very surprised that Sean didn't know how to spell Sarlacc; even I knew and I'm half the SW fan that Sean is! BTW, I freaking love those grindhouse-esque posters. A co-worker provided me with the link a few weeks back and I had a ball looking at the design work on them. The Prestige one should've been the actual poster for that movie it was done so well. I have the Barry Lyndon one on my desktop background.

Why do you trust Ebert? I haven't trusted that bastard since he said that scores are only good if you don't notice them in a movie! BULL! AND HAHAHA! I was not drunk at Bug!!! I wanted to be though. Man, did Creepshow 3 ever suck! Don't even rent that one.
