On comingsoon it was announced that Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg are teaming up to shoot 3 "Tintin" films back to back. The films will be in 3-D, and Weta has already delivered a 20 minute demonstration reel.
Now, will there be a battle over which composer to bring onto the project? After all, Spielberg is known for occasionally team up with Williams
, whereas demand for another Jackson/Shore collaboration should be huge.Whatever happens, I'm as excited about a Jackson/Shore as I am about a Williams/Jackson.
Oh, and by the way, a PJ- directed Hobbit movie has just moved a little more into the universe of unlikelyness.

Zimmer (and gang) should be considered, given his (their) involvement in animated movies.

There's no way Spielberg will lightly abandon his collaboration with Williams.
Why should he?

Interesting. I certainly wouldn't mind a Jackson/Williams collaboration. I don't really see how Shore would fit a Tintin movie, even after realising how wrong my initial doubts about a Shore LOTR were.

Steven, we said you were going to keep making personal statement films with ambivalent conclusions, a la MUNICH. Why have you broken with this excellent plan?

I'd rather see Jackson work with JNH to deliver another bland action/adventure score that wears out its welcome before the year is over.

1) Nonsense.
2) PUKE-VOMIT. Can't you come up with something daringly new? Zimmer & Co. doing animation? WOW! Give me a damn break.
