Coverage of JAN A.P. KACZMAREK's EVENING recording session

Two weeks ago, celebrated Oscar winning composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek recorded his score for a new drama directed by Lajos Koltai ("Fateless") and entitled "Evening".. "Evening" is a drama exploring the emotional and romantic past of Ann Grant, a 65-year-old woman who's suffering from terminal cancer and Jan A.P. Kaczmarek recorded his score for the movie in Warsaw, Poland, with the Polish Radio Orchestra conducted by Tadeusz Wicherek and numerous well-known soloists.

As nice as it is to see Kaczmarek working again, I'm amazed Lajos Koltai didn't carry Ennio Morricone over from FATELESS. Talk about going from Gold to Bronze.

Perhaps Morricone declined an offer to score the film?

As you said, it's nice to see Kaczmarek working again. His score for DREAMER was rejected and he really hasn't worked much since winning the Oscar for FINDING NEVERLAND. I look forward to his score for EVENING. He rarely disappoints and the film looks like a good vehicle for him.
